Hello!!!
I’m quite certain that there must be a law somewhere that prohibits one from subjecting their friends to not one but TWO ‘Red Dwarf’ clips in one week. But You guys are partially to blame because You laughed at Ace Rimmer….and anyway, I have spiritual/philosophical reasons for this post! (Although I’ll still love You and think You’re uber groovy if You don’t watch! So there!) The thing is this; I’m in a life situation where it is becoming apparent to me that I probably need to tell a white lie. Now to me a lie is a lie is a lie. But I guess we all lie a little every day. At work. Being socially polite, etc. My friends think it’s funny that this is even an issue for me. But I went around yesterday telling the truth everywhere and it just didn’t work. Hell, now I should just say what it is so it’s not some big funky thing hanging between us All. Well, I ran into some financial ‘adventures’ ( ) a while ago and have been staying with friends getting my act together. It’s been about a year and a half. Actually, for seven of those months I rented a room for a wonderfully low price. Before my adventures began, I was paying a HIGH rent for seven years. So I’m now looking for an apartment. And all day yesterday when asked where I’ve been living, I told the truth, and was met with utterly terrified (YOU MUST BE A HORRIBLE PERSON!) energy. My friends keep telling me to pick one of them and a rent price, and to just say that’s where I’ve been. SIMPLE. Everyone I know will vouch for me. I HATE that, but after yesterday, I don’t see as I have much of a choice. Which made me think of the following:

A friend last night lovingly took my hand and lead me straight down the quantum physics rabbit hole! It was full of cowrazy brilliant light and many things that delight me boldly but which I needed to hear again.

Today the wind raged like wildfire making love to everything. People were smiling everywhere. The world literally looked a little shinier today. And I got properly flirted with as every woman should every day! Damnit!

Hello!
Thinking a lot about perspective today. Most of my paintings/drawings posted on this site are works in progress. This was the bare-bones beginning of ‘trusting the jungle’ which I posted the other day. Had a lot of stuff I was ’supposed’ to do today, but mostly what I did was paint and draw and watch this picture morph into:
It’s still not finished.
I was laughing and REALLY appreciating how allowing creativity to flow through is such a tangible form of instant gratification. Zap! There it is! I’d LOVE to be able to stand back far enough from my life to be able to notice all the little growths and changes that surely must be occurring!

Holy Cow and Rut Roh! I do believe I have brought an Egyptian curse down upon myself! Purple Hatter gifted me (eleven of us in all for mystical reasons!) a wonderful Ra Award that he made which I was supposed to possess and then pass on in seven days!!! BUT:
(1) I tried to put it in my widgets but couldn’t figure it out and then I forgot about it and (2) I forgot to pass it on to one person in seven days as directed!!! Ack! The curse! The curse!
But then it occurred to me that said curse was NEVER specifically named! And everything about mysticism I’ve ever read says that things have to be named in order to possess any power, so…I name the curse thusly!!!:
Anyone who refuses to accept this award or do with it as ordained shall receive the curse of a million WONDERFUL kisses! Ha!!!
That said, and joyfully awaiting my punishment, I pass the beautiful RA award
to the Most Wonderful Sir Ichabod of Plain View. This is the first really red leaf of fall I’ve seen this year. It stopped me in my tracks. Beeeeautiful!

The past couple of days I’ve heard a lot about the anniversary of the Berlin Wall coming down. I remember when that was happening and how wonderful it felt. This morning, in a lovely poem commemorating this event and exploring the walls of all sorts that we build in general, Yousei Hime ended with:
